The ASEA provides interactive STEM learning opportunities and promotes interest in STEM careers for elementary school, middle school, and high school students throughout Appalachia Ohio. This academy will be funded in collaboration and carried out by a team of professionals in the Voinovich School US DOE EM PORTSfuture Program, Voinovich School Environmental Group and AEP Foundation funds, Ohio University’s Masters of Science of Environmental Studies degree program, and various faculty throughout the Voinovich School and Ohio University.
